Lily - Guest Artist
Lily began her classical training at the age of 5 at the Annette Roselli Dance Academy in Manly. At the age of 10 she was accepted into the Australian Ballet's Junior Interstate Program and travelled frequently to Melbourne for training until she was 13. Lily also appeared on numerous occasions with The Australian Ballet in their productions of The Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. She was also a member of the Queensland Ballet's after school program from the age of 11.
Lily, a student of Moreton Bay College, was granted time off her academic studies to pursue a Performance Program during school hours to assist in her classical ballet training, and in 2008, under the guidance of her teacher, Annette Roselli, was offered a place at The Royal Ballet School, London. After graduating from the Lower School in 2010 she continued her studies at the English National Ballet School where she will graduate in July 2013.
Lily has been a member of Ballet Theatre of Queensland since 2005, her first production being Beauty and the Beast. At age 13, In her last year with the company, she danced the role of Princess Aurora in The Sleeping Princess.
Lily congratulates BTQ on their 75th year and is extremely excited to be once again performing with the company.
