Sophia Gougoulas has been dancing for 15 years and has been a proud member of Ballet Theatre Queensland for the past 9 years, where she has loved every moment of learning, performing, and growing within the company. She is excited to be teaching at Ballet Theatre Queensland.

Sophia has been teaching for 5 years, working with dancers aged 2–12. She cares deeply about helping young children build confidence, coordination, and a genuine love for dance in a positive and supportive environment, and aims to create classes where students feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn.

Sophia holds a Certificate III in Dance and has successfully completed all RAD Ballet examinations up to and including Advanced 2. Sophia also holds Comdance (CSTD) Teaching Certificates in Jason Winters Contemporary and Modern Jazz and is currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Teaching and Management.
