Save up to $200 on dance with Play On!

A little help to keep them dancing.

As a not-for-profit organisation, Ballet Theatre Queensland is proud to accept Play On! Sports Vouchers, helping eligible Queensland families with the cost of dance.

Through the Queensland Government's Play On! program, eligible children and young people can receive up to $200 towards eligible participation fees, making it a little easier to get into the studio and keep doing what they love.

What are Play On! Sports Vouchers?

Play On! Sports Vouchers are a Queensland Government initiative designed to help families with the cost of getting children and young people involved in sport and active recreation.

Who can apply?

Play On! Sports Vouchers are available for eligible Queensland children and young people aged 5–17 years.

Eligibility and voucher availability apply, so families are encouraged to check the latest requirements on the Queensland Government Play On! website before applying.

Key dates:

27 July 2026
Applications open for parents, carers and guardians.

18 December 2026
Applications close, unless vouchers are exhausted earlier.

18 June 2027
Final date for vouchers to be presented to a registered activity provider.

There are two application rounds each financial year. As each eligible child can receive a maximum of one voucher per financial year, families are encouraged to apply in the round that best suits their child's activities.

How to use your Play On! voucher at BTQ

1. Check your eligibility
Visit the Queensland Government Play On! website to check current eligibility and voucher availability.

2. Apply online
Create or log in to your Queensland Government Enquire account and complete your Play On! Sports Voucher application.

3. Send it through to us
Once you've received your voucher, simply send it through to the BTQ team and we'll take it from there.
