Step through the looking glass and onto the silver screen

Alice in Wonderland is a dazzling new reimagining of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale, brought to life by Ballet Theatre Queensland, with bold original choreography and an all-new jazz-infused score.

Set in the glitzy, golden age of 1930s America, Alice tumbles not into a rabbit hole, but into the behind-the-scenes fantasy of a glamorous Hollywood sound stage. As studio lights blaze and cameras roll, Wonderland becomes a surreal world of eccentric characters, syncopated tea parties, and flamingo showgirls.

This isn’t just a ballet—it’s a cinematic dreamscape made real! With original choreography by Clare Morehen, a dazzling score by Lucas D. Lynch, luscious costumes by Rebekah Ellis and fantastical sets by Josh McIntosh, this is adventure like you’ve never seen before.

Lights, Camera…. Wonderland!
